Dr. Tamika Spellman

A Lifetime of Veterinary Care

Dr. Tamika Spellman was born and raised in Missouri. Growing up her interests in animals began with watching the discovery channel with her Dad. She attended Iowa State University to obtain a Bachelors of Science in Biology. While here, she worked on a daily farm, was a lab tech for an insectary lab, and did research on feed for chickens. She earned her Degree of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in 2011. After graduation, she moved to Houston, Texas and has become a permanent resident here. She has special interests in dermatology and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Spellman is married with 2 children (a boy and a girl). She also has 2 dogs (Cairo a Boxer; and Bently a Pit bull). In her free time, she enjoys traveling, movies, and spending too much time playing on her phone.
