The team at CHAH wants to assure you that we will continue to be here to care for you and for your pets. Because of our concern for the safety and health of our clients and employees, our
hospital will be implementing safety protocols recommended by the CDC in an effort to slow the
spread of COVID-19. We hope that we can do our part to slow the spread of the virus and help
allow our healthcare workers and hospitals ample time to prepare for more patients.
CHAH will be taking the following measures to protect you and our employees:
1. Continue to disinfect between each patient and multiple times throughout the day per usual
and our employees will be washing their hands often.
2. For appointments: a staff member will greet you in our reception area to obtain a history and
discuss what is needed for your pet, who will then be taken to our treatment area for needed
care. We encourage you to drop your pet off – a staff member will be available to retrieve
your baby from your vehicle so that you may remain in your car in order to decrease the amount
of close person to person contact as much as we can.
3. For any clients that may be feeling ill, but need care for your pet, please stay home. Our
staff members will arrange a telemedicine type appointment and can deliver any medication ifneeded.
